Last week we presented a full day workshop at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. Twenty or so voice teachers and students from the Harvard and greater Boston communities joined us to engage in the voice science basics of muscular orientation, breath engagement, oscillation, vocal tract adjustment, and resonant strategies. We also touched on body/mind neuroscience learning practices, and gave a masterclass during which they had a chance to puzzle out some of the new information. It was a remarkable day, full of discovery and breakthroughs. We are grateful to all who came out to share with us.
"I learned more about the science of my voice and the application of effective exercises in one four-hour workshop with Voice Science Works than I thought was even possible! I highly recommend Voice Science Works to any vocalist who wants to improve vocal efficiency and gain invaluable knowledge about their instrument."
"My favorite part of the workshop was getting to learn new vocal exercises that address particular concepts in practice. I also enjoyed learning new language to use with students in lessons to encourage their leadershipd in the stuio and not force a particular method that may not be working for the student."
